Well, for starters it's not as catchy as REM's "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) but I can see how you're anxiously awaiting the end of the world, not with a sense of dread, but rather, you're looking forward to it.
It seems by the looks of it, it's as if there is a chain of events that started from natural disasters, ending with a zombie apocalypse, with an armageddon to finish it all off, so that's the reason you're looking forward to it.
Though a degree of insanity seems to play a part in the last part, especially the lines "but I'll wake up / and everything will be just fine." which is quite an abnormal stance to take if you're looking forward to the end of the world, and wake up the next morning with a nicely cooked breakfast awaiting you.
I like it.
